  1. Open your studio

Sign in with your email, choose a studio name, and connect Stripe so we can pay you.

  2. Upload a design

A JPEG or PNG at 5×7 inches, or design it in Canva. Pick the occasion, give it a name, and set your royalty.

  3. We check it

We measure the print size straight away and check the artwork for anything offensive or copied. Anything unclear goes to a person, and you can follow each design's status in your studio.

  4. Customers send it, you get paid

Your design appears for its occasion. Every card sent earns your royalty, paid to your bank each month.

Every celebration needs new designs

Our customers send cards for festivals that most card shops barely stock. Upload about six weeks ahead so your design is ready when people start writing.

Questions from designers

How much can I earn?

You choose a royalty between 10p and £1 for each design, and earn it on every card a customer sends with that design. Most designers start around 30p.

When do I get paid?

Earnings are held for 30 days after a card is sent, so refunds can settle. Then everything that's cleared is paid to your bank on the 1st of each month, once you're owed at least £1.

How do payouts work?

Through Stripe, the payments company. When you join, you set up a free Stripe account with your bank details. Stripe checks your identity and sends the money; we never see your bank details.

Do I need to be a business?

No. Individuals can sell too. You're responsible for declaring your earnings for tax, and Stripe gives you a record of every payout.

Can I design in Canva?

Yes. Connect your Canva account from your studio, design at print size, and press Return to bring it back. Only use elements you have the rights to sell.

What happens if a design is turned down?

We email you the reason. Most are fixable, such as a low-resolution file or text too close to the edge, and you can upload a corrected version.
